1. Platform Role (Marketplace Intermediary)

Surfed provides an online platform that enables users to list, discover, and communicate about surf-related goods and services. Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

• Surfed does not own items listed on the platform
• Surfed does not inspect, verify, or authenticate listings
• Surfed does not act as a seller or buyer in peer-to-peer transactions
• Surfed does not guarantee the condition, quality, legality, or accuracy of listings

All transactions occur directly between users or independent service providers.

2. User Responsibility (Buyers)

Buyers are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing listing details before purchase
• Inspecting items in person where possible
• Verifying condition, dimensions, and suitability (e.g. surfboard volume, suitability for skill level)
• Confirming ownership and legitimacy of goods
• Agreeing on payment, delivery, and exchange terms with the seller

Surfed does not guarantee or mediate the outcome of any transaction.

3. User Responsibility (Sellers)

Sellers are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring all listing information is accurate and not misleading
• Confirming lawful ownership of all items listed
• Providing truthful descriptions of condition, damage, or modifications
• Setting fair and transparent pricing and terms
• Fulfilling agreed sales or exchanges in good faith

Surfed reserves the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that breach platform standards.

4. Repairs and Service Providers

Repair providers listed on Surfed operate as independent third parties unless explicitly stated otherwise. Accordingly:

• Surfed does not guarantee workmanship, pricing, timelines, or outcomes
• All repair agreements are made directly between the user and the repair provider
• Users are responsible for confirming service details before engaging a provider
• Surfed may facilitate discovery and communication but is not responsible for service delivery

5. Forecasts, Surf Data, and Informational Tools

Surfed may provide surf forecasts, conditions, and related data tools. Users acknowledge that:

• Forecasts are informational only
• Surf conditions are inherently unpredictable and may change rapidly
• Data may be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete
• Surfed is not responsible for any decision made based on forecast or tool outputs
• Forecasts must not be relied upon for safety-critical decisions

6. Product Information and Recommendations

Any surfboard recommendations, sizing tools, or algorithmic suggestions provided by Surfed are:

• General guidance only
• Not professional or safety-certified advice
• Not a guarantee of performance or suitability

Users are responsible for selecting equipment appropriate to their own skill level and conditions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Surfed is not liable for loss, damage, injury, fraud, or disputes arising from user interactions
• Surfed is not responsible for transactions completed off-platform
• Surfed does not guarantee availability, accuracy, or reliability of listings or services
• Use of the platform is at your own risk

8. Platform Moderation Rights

Surfed may:

• Remove listings that violate platform rules or legal requirements
• Suspend or terminate accounts involved in misuse or abuse
• Restrict access to features where necessary for platform safety or integrity

These actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary.

9. No Warranty

Surfed provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding:

• Availability of the platform
• Accuracy of listings or user content
• Outcomes of transactions or services
• Reliability of forecasts or recommendations

Surfed may update this Disclaimer from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
